Cisticola exilis
One of the rewards for birding on a wet and blustery Victorian winter's day was the sight of Golden-headed Cisticolas flitting amongst the tangled grass stalks and singing, despite the weather.
This one popped up beside the track as I was passing and didn't seem too perturbed by my presence.
